Attention all Coaches!!!! As there are a number of crucial AIL matches due to be played at Clifford Park over the next two weeks, we have been requested to advise that there is to be no training nor matches on the front pitch at Clifford Park until further notice. This will impact on the Mini’s on Sunday morning, so please make alternative arrangements to use the astroturf or the paddock beside the astroturf.

Shadow-Man (tackling aid) - The “shadowman” have arrived..We hope to organise training soon for all. Please make sure the three are shared between all and returned to container after training. These are not toys and please supervise all kids when using them. There are two junior and one large shadowman. Please make sure that the correct sleigh size fits the tackle section.

New locks.. Sunday evening...new locks will be put on the main gate and astro in Tom Clifford.. Coaches keys for these will be avail from club shop am Sunday..1 set per team. Please take very good care of these keys and locks and ensure that all locks are firmly locked after you have used the facilities at the club. It is very expensive to have to purchase new locks and over twenty separate sets of keys cut.

Raleri Goggles – Ireland has now been included in a trial for permitting players to use approved “Raleri” goggles. If anyone in the club intends to use these, please contact myself for further details.

Dates for your diaries

Monday 22nd February – Rugby laws workshop – following on from first workshop, an additional workshop is being scheduled at Clanwilliam RFC in Tipperary for those who missed the previous one. This will once again be facilitated by IRB referee, John Lacey.

Tuesday 23rd February – Concussion Workshop - Munster Rugby will host a Concussion Workshop at Garryowen FC at Dooradoyle at 7.pm. Pre-registration is not required for either event – just turn up on the night.

Well done to all our Under Age players who were in action in the Munster Schools Senior & Junior cup competitions during the week.

Best of luck to our Senior XV who take on Galwegians in the AIL this Saturday at Clifford Park. The France vs Ireland match will be shown live on the “Big Screen” immediately after the senior match, all are welcome to join us to watch the match in the clubhouse.
